The Robinson Family Awards Scholarship Description

The Robinson Family Awards were established to honor the enduring legacy, values, and community commitment of the Robinson family. Rooted in service, leadership, and a steadfast belief in the power of education, these awards recognize Drew Charter School students who exemplify excellence in character, scholarship, and leadership.

The Robinson Family Awards celebrate students who not only achieve academically, but also demonstrate integrity, perseverance, and a heart for serving others. Through these scholarships, the Robinson family invests in the next generation of leaders who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.

The Robinson Family Awards include two distinguished honors:

The Wanda Robinson Legacy Award
The Wanda Robinson Legacy Award recognizes a student who embodies compassion, resilience, and a strong commitment to academic success. This award honors a scholar who uplifts others, demonstrates consistent character, and leaves a positive and lasting impact within the Drew Charter School community. The recipient reflects the enduring legacy of faith, strength, and dedication that defines the Robinson family name.  GPA minimum requirement is 2.75 or higher. Priority consideration for education majors. 

The Ray Robinson Leadership Award
The Ray Robinson Leadership Award is presented to a student who exemplifies outstanding leadership, initiative, and service. This award honors a scholar who leads with integrity, inspires peers, and demonstrates a clear commitment to making a difference both inside and outside the classroom. The recipient reflects the values of courage, responsibility, and forward-thinking leadership. GPA minimum requirement is 3.0, priority given to students that express interest in business, public service, and STEAM careers. 

Through these awards, the Robinson Family continues its commitment to empowering Drew Charter School students to pursue higher education, embrace leadership opportunities, and carry forward a legacy of excellence and service.
