A National Fitness Program for Women
Dr. Miriam Nelson, a professor at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, has developed a strength-training program specifically for midlife and older women. The Strong Women Program will help you increase your strength, bone density, balance, and energy, and you will look and feel better!
Your Strong Bodies Classes Will Meet:
Adams: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Starting September 19, 2017, 8:15AM-9:00AM at the Adams County Community Center
Easton: Wednesdays and Fridays, Starting April 20, 2017, 8AM - 8:50 AM at the Easton Town Hall
All Strong Bodies Program Participants Should Wear:
Comfortable, loose , breathable clothing.
Closed-toe shoes with rubber soles, preferably athletic shoes or sneakers, minimal jewelry - especially on hands and wrists.
All Strong Bodies Program Participants Should Bring:
At least one full water bottle.
1-2 sets of appropriate weight dumbbells.
At least one adjustable ankle weight, exercise mat, or towel.
