“Curbside Emergencies” - focusing on the Chauffeur’s role in managing pump failures, water supply obstacles, and burst hose lengths
“Close Quarter Combat”- covering techniques and strategies for hose line management in the face of adverse building conditions; such as hoarding, illegal subdivisions, and buildings in transition.
“Going Remote”- providing common sense solutions for extending hose lines of different diameters to effectively meet the seat of the fire.
“Making the Rear”- looking at the role of the Outside Vent Man (OVM) and how features like barricades, landscaping, and construction features affect their ability to access the C-Side.
“From the Inside Out”- addressing the challenging reality of transitioning victims out of the fire building from above and below grade positions...specifically as part of VES situations where no other options for removal exist.
“Work at Height”- reviewing strategies and tactics for vertical ventilation on steep/difficult pitched roofs.
