We are excited to announce the call for submissions for the 2nd annual Howard University Hip Hop Studies Conference, and taking place at Howard University in Washington, DC on November 15-17, 2024. The conference will showcase panel presentations, workshops, activities, and performances.

We invite Hip Hop artists, scholars, and community members from all over the world to join us for this international conference. This year, we are also celebrating the launch of the new Hip Hop Studies minor at Howard University.

Registration for the conference will be $50, with a discounted price of $20 for students and online participants.

We are currently accepting submissions for presenters and visual artists:

· Presenters: Please submit a 300-word abstract for a panel discussion, workshop, or presentation of scholarly work.

· Visual Artists: Please provide a link to your portfolio or website for potential art installations or photography exhibitions. Include a description of your proposed exhibition and a biography.

All submissions due no later than October 15, 2024.
