Request for Proposals- Image Summit 2020
The mission of this youth conference is to empower young people from across the state to use their voice to impact government and become active community members. We want to build networks among young leaders here in Colorado! On day one of this event, we will offer attendees a sampling of breakout workshops from art to diversity in hopes to empower leaders, inspire community activists, and build confidence. On day two, we will give attendees the opportunity to put their new-found skills and confidence to work, learning about local government and having the opportunity to meet and converse with elected officials from across the state.
This two-day conference will consist of the following:
Thursday, March 19 –Exciting entertainment and keynote speaker followed by ten 27-minute workshop-style presentations – totaling 5.5 hours in length from 10:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Lunch is included. (TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.)
Friday, March 20- Exciting keynote speaker, elected official round tables, food truck alley lunch, and youth social wrap up

The City of Brighton is currently accepting proposals for workshop presenters for March 19. We are seeking presenters that host interactive workshops that address the following:
Inclusivity and Diversity
Workshops must be:
o no longer than 27 minutes in length
o Engaging and fun
o Have a memorable takeaway
o Your proposal must be developmentally appropriate for EITHER 5th-8th graders OR 9th-12 graders. Group size will be approximately 30 students.
o Must be able to modify for students disabilities
Compensation is between $1,000-1,200
Please complete the following by December 18, 2019, at 11:59pm
If your proposal is selected for an interview, you must be available for either an in-person OR Skype interview on January 3rd or January 6th. An in-person interview is preferred.
