Media Contact Volunteer - expression of interest
Vera C. Rubin Observatory is getting closer to finishing construction each day, and we're already starting to see an increase in media requests. We expect to release the first Rubin images with a big media splash in early 2025, and we need a pool of enthusiastic, media-trained individuals (both Rubin staff and science community members) to connect with the reporters/journalists for interviews. If you are interested in speaking on the record about Rubin Observatory, please fill out this form — we may be in touch with an interview request in the future. We also plan to offer opportunities for basic media training including talking points and key messages, referrals will only be made after completion of the training.
