BEHOLD - “An Evening with Us”! First performed on June 27th, 2020, Justin and his friends began performing a series of "secret backyard shows" designed specifically for social distancing and lots of music and laughter. With the success of these initial socially distanced shows, we’re now bringing you monthly "secret" performances in non-traditional venues and backyards all over DC and beyond. Most shows are between 25 and 50 people unless otherwise noted. Note: the shows are no longer socially distanced but still retain the intimate feel that people loved from the very beginning.
WHAT TO EXPECT - Basically, our “Secret Shows” are intimate, private concerts held in personal backyards and non-traditional venues which creates a much more unique and exclusive experience than a regular music venue that you can visit any time you want. Imagine in your head a mini Wolf Trap or Merriweather Post Pavilion but you don't find out the location until the night before. Most shows average around 50 people creating an intimate and memorable experience that you can’t get elsewhere else. But what really sets our “Secret Shows” apart is the sense of the community and that you feel when you're there. Justin MC's the show and makes the audience feel like they're really part of the night and not just on-lookers watching from the distance. It's not just about the music - it's about connection through stories and jokes and personal moments that you get in between the songs. It’s almost like you’re hanging out in our living room, pulling back the curtain for a much more unique performance than you might normally get at a regular music venue.
