ASPB has been working in partnership with NAASC and with members of our community to develop a resource aimed at improving diversity and inclusion in the plant sciences. Called Changing Cultures and Climates, this effort derives from suggestions from ASPB’s Council in the summer, the objective being to create a rich and interactive resource for us all – whether we identify as minoritized, we want to work actively toward changing the status quo, and/or we simply wish to become better informed about the impacts of institutional racism on plant biologists and STEM environments more generally.
