*****YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CAN PITCH THEIR CONCEPT FOR A CHANCE TO WIN UP TO $1500*****
Participating young entrepreneurs can also choose to pitch their creative business concepts to a panel of visionary businesses leaders during the event with the chance to land cash prizes of up to $1500 from the Judge’s Pick Award and People’s Choice Award!
Eight presenters will be carefully selected from the pool of applicants for the Young Entrepreneurs Pitch portion of the event. Pitching is also open to youth who are not showcasing at the event, but who are attending and would like to present their business idea, model, or plan.
--- Presenters should be prepared with a 5 minute presentation for the judges that adequately describes the mission and vision of their business, the financial overview and structure, as well as their future business goals. --- This should include projections and business plans. --- Pitch participants should be prepared to tell the judges exactly what they will use the $1500 cash award for to take their business to the next level.--- Pitch presentations can include powerpoint or short video (please provide your own laptop or ipad to present), posters, documents, presentation materials of your choice. --- Preparing a “1 pager” with the most pertinent information to give to the judges is also a good idea.
All ticketed guests will receive a ticket to vote for the business that they feel is the best choice to win a cash prize by popular vote. The prize for popular vote is separate from the judge’s choice.
Please answer yes or no to the Young Entrepreneurs Pitch participation question below and we will email you more information.
