24th Street Monument Project Survey
Omaha Economic Development Corporation is focused on revitalizing the commercial and cultural nature of the historic North 24th Street Corridor, between Ohio and Blondo Streets. Our goal is to create a series of unique public monuments that will preserve more of the story of local African Americans who impacted the events and conversation related to racial tensions and segregation in Omaha/Douglas County, Nebraska.
We would like the community's input on this project. Please answer the following questions to give OEDC your opinion on the "who, what, when, and where" of this project. When complete, these monuments will create an experiential journey through 150 years of history from the Pre-Civil War period to present day life.
