4th Annual Arlington Fair Housing Conference
With the federal government retreating from its role in fair housing enforcement and limited capacity within the state government, Arlington County's commitment to fighting housing discrimination is now more important than ever!
Join the NAACP Arlington Branch, Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) of Virginia, and the Equal Rights Center for the 4th Annual Arlington Fair Housing Conference on Saturday, May 3rd from 11 AM to 3 PM ET at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington Virginia. With Keynote remarks from Maureen Yap, Vice President of Public Policy and Senior Counsel for Fair Lending at the National Fair Housing Alliance, the conference will explore the state of fair housing policy and enforcement under the Trump and Youngkin administrations and the need for local governments in the DC metro region to take strong action to protect residents from housing discrimination. Come be inspired by speakers—state-wide and regional nonprofit leaders and local advocates—to take action to support fair housing in your community today! It's free, open to the public—and lunch is included.
