STEM Magnet Program Agreement
The STEM Magnet Program is a district program that is open to all students who wish to attend.  Acceptance into the program will result in your placement at Mountlake Terrace High School.  Students who choose to attend the STEM program and who reside outside of the MTHS service  area must maintain enrollment in the full STEM program as stated in the suggested STEM program of study.

Students who choose to attend the STEM Magnet Program who reside outside the Edmonds School District boundaries are required to obtain a "Non-Resident Variance Release Form" from their home district, and file it with the Edmonds School District.  The variance must be re-filed before the beginning of EACH school year.

Students from outside the MTHS service area boundary who do not maintain their enrollment in the STEM Magnet Program will be notified that they need to transfer back to their home high school or return to their home district at the end of the semester.

Students attending the STEM Magnet Program and living outside the MTHS service area boundary must provide their own transportation.

By signing electronically below, I understand that the STEM Magnet Program is a rigorous program and that I am committing to completing the full program.  If I choose to attend and I am accepted, I will make the commitment to work to my full potential and make a positive contribution to the STEM Magnet Program at MTHS.
