Adopt A Beach Program 2026

Our ocean needs more friends like you !

This program is a Surfrider Foundation ocean conservation initiative to tackle the issue of ocean plastics and pollution on Sydney’s Northern beaches. The largest, enduring community-powered beach clean-up in Sydney. 

With the support of local business partners and an Environment grant awarded by the Northern Beaches Council, this program will foster and facilitate community ownership to care for our coastline, keep our beaches free of pollution, document impact and support advocacy for greater government action on this issue.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Come along and attend a beach clean at one of the 9 Northern beach locations each month and register here to receive upates on the Adopt a Beach program.
When: The 1st Sunday of the month
Time:   3 - 4 pm
