Non-livestreamed performances

Due to a recent increase in our allocation from MPTF we can offer several gigs as budget allows.

  • Nursing homes 

  • Assisted living facility 

  • Senior centers

  • VA locations or events

  • Black History Month performances: February

  • Women's History Month: March

  • Jazz Appreciation Month: April

  • The scale for these gigs is $200 for a single or leader and $100 for each side musician up to a total of 5 musicians. All players involved must be current members of Local 135-211 and the venues must be within our jurisdiction.

Per MPTF rules, 5% work dues will be deducted from your payment, resulting in $190 for leader and $95 per side musician.

The leader will receive a check for the entire amount (work dues already withheld) and is responsible for paying side musicians.

There may be no cost to audience members to attend the performance.

A minimum of four weeks is needed before application and performance date.
