This is a form for residents to fill out if they are interested in having permafrost monitoring sensors in their yard or property they own.  We are looking to monitor areas where people have taken actions to reduce their wildfire risk such as removing spruce trees or other vegetation.  Preferably the land clearing or thinning should have taken place recently (< 2 years).  If you have any questions please contact Dr. Nicolsky at djnicolsky@alaska.edu. This data will be used only for the duration of this project (4-6 years) and will not be shared with people outside of this project.
