Only 10% of CEOs across Hospitality, Travel and Leisure are women – yet 36% of direct reports to Board are female and represent an exciting pool of future ExCo members and CEOs – and a more diverse leadership team for our sector.
The 2019 Women to Watch in HTL Index will showcase this exciting pool of talented female professionals who are up and coming in the industry. It will include leaders who are both an inspiration to younger generations and highlight leaders ready to step into ExCo and Board positions at the helm of large and small organisations either now or in the future. With last year being a record year for promotions to senior roles for female talent, there is a rich and diverse group of individuals who can provide inspiration for other women across the Hospitality, Travel and Leisure industry.
We are going to tell their stories, share their tips for getting to where they are, and unearth the lessons they have learned along the way and understand their aspirations. They are the future CEOs, Chairs, Non-Executive Directors and Executives in our sector and will be role models for all generations.
We are seeking your nominations for the Women to Watch in HTL Index. In particular, nominations are sought for women who stand out from their peer group and excel in the following areas:
• Leadership • Commercial impact • Entrepreneurialism and innovation • Wider contribution to the sector • Wider contribution to society Nominations will open on the 1st of May and will close on the 17th of June. The 2019 Women to Watch Index will be published in October 2019.
