Now the legalese: Because the foods purchased or sampled at the events are not all overseen by the health department, our lawyers ask that you acknowledge that you are responsible for any consequences of eating the foods provided. By registering, please be aware that you are stating:

On behalf of myself (the undersigned) and all minors (named above) brought by me to the event:

(1) I hereby agree to accept and assume all risks of damage to me or any other person; and

(2) I hereby release and forever discharge the released parties from all claims based on any damage suffered by me and any other person;
as a direct or indirect consequence of my participation in any event occurring in connection with the consumption of any food or beverage or otherwise arising from my participation in any event organized by the Homegrown Marin Market, LLC. I agree this release shall continue and not expire unless I revoke my agreement to this release.

Certain terms above are defined as follows: “Released Parties” means Homegrown Marin Market, LLC, Danya Adolphs, all vendors providing food and beverages at the events, and, as applicable, their respective owners, employees, managers, and agents. “Damage” means personal injury, disability, or death to you or any other person, whether foreseen or unforeseen, even if caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or anyone else. “Claims” means all claims, actions, demands, rights, causes of action, and liabilities, for or on account of any Damage.
