Join the Math Club Adventure — and Do Your Bit for the World! 🌍✨
Are you ready to use math to make a real difference? The FHE 4th & 5th Grade Math Club meets every Monday morning from January to May, and this year our work is centered around the Do Your Bit Global Goals Challenges.
Students will collaborate in teams to learn about the Global Goals, explore real-world problems connected to them, and solve math-based tasks and challenges tied to issues like sustainability, equity, health, and innovation. Using math and STEM skills, students will then choose one or two Global Goals to focus on and design solutions that help “do their bit.”
🔢 Apply math skills to real-world Global Goals challenges
🧠 Solve logic problems and data-based tasks connected to global issues
🤖 Use coding, micro:bits, and STEM tools to model and test solutions
🎨 Follow the design thinking process to turn ideas into action
🌟 Collaborate with teammates and present solutions in a final exhibition for friends and family
If you enjoy math, problem-solving, teamwork, and making a positive impact, this club is for YOU! Space is limited—sign up today and get ready to think mathematically, act globally, and make a difference! 💡🌱
