Part 1 – Reading Comprehension
Ayrton Senna – 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix

In 1991, Ayrton Senna raced in the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, his home country. Winning this race was his dream, but it had always escaped him before. On this day, he started strong and quickly took the lead, with thousands of fans cheering him on.

Halfway through the race, Senna’s car began to have serious problems with the gearbox. He lost several gears and could barely control the car. Many thought he would not be able to finish, but he refused to give up.

Lap after lap, he fought off challenges from rival drivers who tried to overtake him. Somehow, with incredible skill, he kept on driving and stayed in the lead. The crowd couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Finally, after an exhausting race, Senna made it through the finish line in first place. He was so tired he could barely lift the trophy, but the victory was unforgettable — a symbol of his determination and spirit.
