Do you want to witness international climate policy being made? 
Come along to one of our info sessions / workshops to find out more about how you can bid for a place at COP29 - the annual conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. 
This year the conference will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November 2024.


Eligibility: You can only apply for a place at COP29 if you're a University of Sheffield researcher, academic, professional services staff member or PhD student.

Timings: You will have until Thursday 15th August to apply for a place at COP29. We are planning to release the official call for bids in w/c 8 July 2024. 

Please note that both of the info sessions / workshops will be held in person on TUoS campus (at The Diamond) and there won't be the option to attend online. Your attendance at one of these sessions doesn't commit you to anything, it will however help to make your application stronger, should you end up bidding for a place at COP29.
