Ateneo Development Field School (ADFS) 2023 Application Form
The Ateneo Development Field School (ADFS) is a 4-week, 6-unit course that aims to enhance students' applied research skills, deepen their understanding of development themes, and enable them to contribute to social development.

The 2023 ADFS program will focus on rural development, utilizing the research for organizing and inclusive innovation approaches to development. Through classroom lectures, fieldwork, and exercises, students will gain knowledge on participatory action research and innovation management principles, methods, and skills that are relevant to rural development issues.

This year, the ADFS will collaborate with the Gawad Kalinga-St. Joseph community in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, and by the end of the course, students will be expected to assess the community's sectors, conduct a small community development intervention, produce the results of their innovation search and participatory action research, document their immersion experience in a 5-minute Digital Impact Story, and reflect on their experience to enhance their personal, academic, and socio-civic responsibilities. For further details, the schedule of activities of the Program can be viewed HERE.
