If you have items you'd like to bring along for fixing at Cartmel Peninsula Repair Cafe then this form is for you - it helps us prepare for the event too.
The repairs will be done by volunteers giving their time and using their tools for free. Please bring key items (like zips of the right size and colour, manufacturer spare part, batteries) for the Repairer to use. The aim is to fix everything, but we know that in reality not everything can be repaired and if that is the case it will be explained. Please bring clean items you can carry easily and note we are unable to attempt fixes to the internal workings of microwaves. All items must be taken away by their owner by end of any session, even if they cannot be repaired.
This is a repair AND skill share event so we ask you to sit with the Repairer whilst they are working with your item - we hope you learn something new from this experience - we think this is the most important bit.
We welcome monetary donations to support and develop this exciting project further - from our first small steps (or little stitches) big things could grow!
