Looking for some quality mathematics professional development? Join mathematics educators from across Northeast Ohio for networking and engaging sessions that focus on incorporating technology in the classroom, developing interdisciplinary lessons, integrated mathematics at the high school level, and techniques for differentiating lessons for challenged and gifted learners. A detailed session guide and list of presenters will be sent via email closer to the mini conference date.
At this meeting, participants will:
--Enjoy breakfast while networking with other mathematics educators.
--Continue learning about GCCTM’s Theme for the year: “20/20 Vision: Focusing on the Future by Reflecting on the Past.”
--Learn more about GCCTM, the Crooked River Math Teachers’ Circle, OCTM, and other local mathematics organizations.
--Learn how to earn Graduate Credit for attending GCCTM and other affiliated events.
--Engage in fun math activities that you can bring back to your own classroom.
Participants will receive a "Certificate of Participation" for up to 4 Contact Hours/PDUs for attending this mini-conference. Note--These contact hours may need to be pre-approved by an LPDC or HR Department. Earn 1 hour of graduate credit from Ashland University by attending 15 hours of Crooked River/GCCTM events and completing a written assignment upon completion of the attendance requirement.
