The Myth of Laziness: A new understanding of students motivation RSVP
Fill out the form below to RSVP for the LD Series Lecture, "The Myth of Laziness" with Horizon Academy School Psychologist, Tiffany Arrington. This event will take place on February 13th at 6:30 p.m.
This session challenges parents to rethink about using the word "lazy" to describe student behaviors. Using the latest neuropsychology research on executive functioning, learning, and mood, this session will help parents interpret student behavior in more meaningful and productive ways. By helping your student identify his or her areas of strength and deficits, while providing appropriate expectations, you can help your student learn to motivate themselves.
