Women in Higher Education Leadership (WIHEL) - Members Registration

This call is inviting Academics, Researchers and Administrators (middle to senior positions) in the Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and other educational agencies to register as members of "Women in Higher Education Leadership (WIHEL).  Website: https://wihel.org/ 

Members are enrolled on "Collaborative Online Leadership Engagement" (COLE) training programme that leads to award of "Certificate in Strategic Leadership or Responsible Leadership".   https://wihel.org/collaborative-online-leadership-engagement-cole/ 

The project is designed to support higher education institutions to research, train, design and implement policies concerning gender equity, diversity and inclusivity (EDI) in the Higher Education system highlighting the "underrepresentation of women in the Senior Leadership of the Nigerian Higher Education". 

This is one of the British Council - Gender Equality Partnership / Going Global Partnership programme. Project partners include University of Lincoln, UK; African Development Institute of Research Methodology (ADIRM) and Office of Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU), Abuja, as well as selected Nigerian Universities and polytechnics.
