The Amphibian Foundation has worked with and trained many amazing volunteers and interns over the years, and prioritize a strong relationship with a diverse conservation community, including our volunteers, interns, staff, board, partners, and the public.
Our programs and initiatives are centered upon these important relationships. Whether you are interested in husbandry and helping us take care of the over 100 reptiles and 900 amphibians in our education and research collections, rearing endangered species of amphibian for conservation programs, teaching Critter Camp, or helping us communicate amphibian conservation advancements to the world, there are many opportunities to get involved with the Amphibian Foundation and saving amphibians!
Collections Volunteers work hands-on with the live collections at the Amphibian Foundation. These collections are housed within 6 labs, and total around 1,000 amphibians and reptiles. The Collections Volunteer team is approximately 40 people, who have all been trained at AF in our world-class husbandry techniques.
