These have been a really tough few years at school, and you have faced so many challenges. Well done for your resilience and patience in getting though .
It is an exciting time though many students find starting first year daunting and a culture shock, for many reasons e.g. meeting new people, managing money or lacking academic skills, living away from home for the first time. You may be concerned about some of these.
My Student Years (MSY) is being set up to support final year Scottish school pupils move from school to further education– from any school or any university or college. MSY aims to improve the experience of first year via access to an on-line toolkit specially designed with 1-to-1 meetings, challenges, courses, webinars, workshops, factsheets etc to add to your skills to start university with confidence, with a network of students who support each other before and after they start .
But... we need your help! This survey is to find out how you
really feel about starting university or college.
Please fill out this survey as honestly as you can, there are no right or wrong answers and the results will be collated anonymously. It should take 5-10 minutes if you add comments.
