Request for Proposals - MCSS 2019 Conference
The Maine Council for the Social Studies would like to invite formal and informal educators to create a proposal for a workshop session at our annual conference to be held on November 4, 2019 at the Augusta Civic Center. We are pleased to announce the theme, "Maine's Bicentennial: Past, Present, and Future."

The Maine Council for Social Studies is looking for teachers who can share their expertise in one of the following areas: Wabanaki studies, Maine history, economics, geography, US history, technology, civics, psychology, sociology, and global studies. If you have a great idea that does not fit the above topics/disciplines, please feel free to share your ideas too! We welcome innovative educators who want to share content, new materials, and practical classroom strategies.

Workshop Information: We are looking for presenters in the following grade span areas: K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. We value workshop sessions that are interactive, informative, and hands on.
