ADDRESSING CHALLENGING BEHAVIOR
This 3-hour workshop, provided by TRIAD's Families First program and hosted by the College of Educational & Behavioral Sciences at Western Kentucky University, is intended to provide parents with information for understanding the influences on challenging behavior, so parents are more effectively able to identify and address triggers. This presentation examines both preventative and reactive strategies in the management of challenging behavior, and will provide suggestions for structuring the environment (including our behavior) in a way that promotes appropriate behavior, identifying and teaching appropriate replacement behaviors, and responding to difficult behavior in the moment.
This event is free of charge and childcare is provided at no cost. However, space is limited. Register today!
