Early Registration is over. All standard rules apply.
ALL Vendors making sales must have their temporary street vendor permit by May 4, 2020. If you are selling food or merchandise you must have your STREET FAIR VENDOR PERMIT (Permission to make sales on the street) and all food vendors must have a Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit (Food Safety license).

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY MORE THAN ONCE UNLESS YOU REQUIRE TWO BOOTHS.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What do I need to apply to sell at Black VegFest?
All vendors must have all correct permits, insurance and payment.

Are vendor booth fees per day or per weekend?
Vendor booth fees are all PER DAY.

May I purchase more than one booth?
Yes. Vendors may purchase up to TWO booths each PER DAY. A vendor may have a sponsor purchase additional booths on their behalf.

Can I purchase booths for two festival days?
Yes. Vendors may purchase TWO festival days.

Can I partner with another vendor to participate?
No. Joint-venture booths. Booth splitting or renting is prohibited. No exceptions. Each business must fill out their own information to become a vendor at Black VegFest. Low-income vendors will have an opportunity to volunteer to receive additional discounts.

HOW TO SELL FOOD at Black VegFest:
This will require a DOHMH Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit.

ABOUT BLACK VEGFEST
Equality begins with acknowledging inequity and unfairness. Our event is not about becoming a cash cow but about intersectionality and fairness. Intersectionality invokes us to act consciously. Towards a world of justice and peace we’re utilizing an unorthodox payment form to create equitable distribution and support for our local community and businesses. Where legislators and corporations falter the most radically conscious must intervene.

ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE 100% VEGAN
All vending items (FOOD, MERCHANDISE, ETC.) must be vegan (free of animal exploitation, usage, animal death).
NO HONEY, LANOLIN, WOOL, SHELLS, DAIRY, MEAT, FISH, OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT DERIVED FROM ANIMALS.
Businesses found to be non-vegan will be removed at anytime, including the day of the festival.

VENDOR SPACE
Our Full Booth space is 10' x 10'. Our Half Booth vendors have a 10' x 5'. Vendors may use 6’ or 8' tables or Food Trucks. Full booth vendors may take advantage of $25.00 off when they provide their own tent. Vendors are strictly prohibited from renting space to any other vendor regardless of circumstances.

VENDOR INSURANCE IS REQUIRED (BY MAY 4, 2020)
All vendors must be fully insured. Vendors shall obtain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming "Grassroots Artists Movement, Inc" as an additional beneficiary. Example: https://tinyurl.com/wtvwugc. Furnish insurance UPON REQUEST.

VENDOR AGREEMENT & WAIVER
Vendor Agreement and Waivers must be signed prior to setting up equipment at Black VegFest.

HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT
Forms of payment: SQUARE-VENMO-CHECK-MONEY ORDER
Vendors must be invoiced before making a payment.
All payments must be made within 24 hours of receiving an invoice.
All invoices will arrive via SQUARE. You may still choose to pay via another service.

-SQUARE PAYMENTS
A payment plan is only available to vendors using SQUARE.
At least 50% of your invoice must be paid in 24 hours.

-VENMO PAYMENTS
Our account handler is "@blackvegfest". There is no payment plan.
Pay within 24 hours of receiving an invoice.

-CHECKS and MONEY ORDER PAYMENTS
Please make all CHECKS and MONEY ORDERS payable to “G.A.ME, Inc”.
Mail or DROP-OFF payments at 1958 Fulton Street #400, Brooklyn, NY 11233.
There are no payment plans for checks or money orders.
Checks and Money Orders must be received within 48 hours.

REFUND POLICY
30-DAYS prior to MARCH 31st
There are absolutely no refunds, including defaults on partial payment on or after April 1, 2020 or after 30 days of submitting your form -which ever comes first.
