CV Parking Permit Application 18-19
Thank you for taking the time to complete the following Castle View High School online parking permit application for the 2018-2019 school year. Please read all of the information included on this GoogleForm while providing up to date and accurate information. It is our desire to streamline the process for students/families to acquire a CVHS parking permit.

The use of the student parking lots here at Castle View High School is a privilege, not a right. All CVHS students are expected to follow the vehicle registration, operation, and parking rules. A student driver of any vehicle that is parked on campus without a valid hangtag or is in violation of registration, operation, or parking rules will be subject to fines, disciplinary action, booting, and/or loss of parking privileges for the remainder of the school year without a refund of the assessed parking fee. Additionally, students may lose parking privileges in the current school year or in a future school year as a result of violations of CVHS behavior or attendance policies.

CVHS parking permits will only be issued to SENIORS & JUNIORS. Only one permit is issued per student; permits are transferable between REGISTERED family vehicles, but each vehicle must be registered and the required information provided. If a student's registered vehicle is replaced, the student needs to come to the Security Office before parking on campus. Security will update our system with the student's new information at no additional cost to the student/family. If a permit is lost/stolen CVHS will provide a new permit for a $10.00 replacement fee. Students are not allowed to transfer/sell their parking permit to another student.

If a rental/loaner vehicle is in use, a student must obtain a temporary parking permit from Campus Security before the vehicle is parked on campus. If a student has purchased a parking permit and withdrawals, transfers, or choose to graduate early from CVHS, he/she must return the their parking permit to the Security Office.

The Douglas County School District Board of Education has established the annual cost of a parking permit for all DCSD High Schools. Parking permits cost $50.00, if a student does not acquire a parking permit until after the 2nd semester has begun they will be charged $25.00.

Once the application and all elements needed to be eligible for parking permit purchase are completed students will be able to purchase the permit according to the following schedule:

SENIORS ONLY - August 13th through the 17th (extra volunteers will be on site the 16th and 17th to speed up distribution)

JUNIORS AND SENIORS - August 20th through the 24th (extra volunteers will be on site the 20th and 21st).
If we sell out of parking permits a wait list will be created and permits will be sold as they are available.

ALL STUDENT FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE A PARKING PERMIT IS ISSUED.

ALL SECTIONS OF THE APPLICATION MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE A PERMIT.
