Holiday Giving for our Veterans: Blanket making Sign-Up
In addition to collecting drop-off donations, Senator Morrison is hosting a blanket-making event from 10am-1pm at the same location - the Training Room at the Highland Park Police Dept (1677 Old Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). We will provide blanket kits, and volunteers will be able to sit or stand while making the fleece blankets to donate to Midwest Veterans Closet, an organization that provides clothes, food, and household supplies to local veterans free of charge.

I plan on attending the the Blanket-Making event at Highland Park Police Dept on December 13th between 10am-1pm (you are welcome, but no need to stay the whole time!) *
