New CTE Teacher Support Oct-Nov 2017 (Six-week course)
This course is a great course for any new CTE teacher. The course covers the introductory skills, knowledge, and attitudes required for beginning CTE teaching success.This course also meets the early orientation requirement to clear your Designated Subjects CTE Credential through the Orange County Office of Education if your Preliminary Credential came from Orange COE. (If your preliminary credential is from a program sponsor other than OCOE, this course may or may not meet requirements. Contact us for more information.) Instruction will be a combination of 18 hours class time and 12 hours online work.

• Creating a Positive Learning Environment
• Designing Engaging Instruction for all Learners
• Effective Assessment of Student Learning
• Surviving and Thriving as a Professional Educator

Although there is no cost for this course, registration is required. Please plan to attend all six dates. All classes are on Wednesday evenings.
