2023-2024 Civic Works Volunteer Group Application
Instructions: Please complete all sections of this registration form.  Completed forms must be received no later than 14 days prior to the requested date of visit (we generally schedule at least a month out).  Civic Works staff will contact groups to discuss donation (if applicable) and tailor the visit according to our program availability and each group’s goals, interests, and time frame. Becka usually meets with programs on Thursdays, so please be patient as we process your request.

Tuesdays-Saturdays preferred. Let me know if you are looking for a one-time or ongoing event. Our general volunteering time is 9am-12. Sometimes we can make exceptions and schedule an afternoon.
Age of Volunteers *
We have opportunities for all age groups.  Volunteers with the Community Lot Team must be 14+.  Volunteers under 14 are welcome at Real Food Farm when accompanied by an adult.  Please be specific with age of minors.  If all are 18+, write "adults."
Group Size *
On certain days we can handle groups as large as 50, but 50 is our maximum.  Groups of 25 or fewer are preferred.
Are there projects your group is particularly interested in?  Is your group working on food justice, food access, sustainability, urban agriculture, gardening or other topics/issues related to our programs?
We will keep your interests in mind, but we cannot guarantee a certain project.  We also have to consider the season, weather, needs of our programs, workload, and/or budget.
