Custom Cake Request
NOW ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR MARCH & APRIL 2023. Space is very limited. I respond to requests on Mondays and Tuesdays in order. Please be patient with me! PLEASE READ ALL THAT FOLLOWS!!!

Not booking yet for MAY 2023 and beyond. Requests for later months will not be answered until books open for those months.

Petal & Moon Pastry is a 1-woman run cottage/home bakery in Oak Park, IL. I am a trained chef, licensed sanitation manager, and professional baker. Custom books fill up quickly, and I am not able to take on all custom order requests. If your requested date is unavailable, I will do my best to give alternative options if I am able to. All of my cakes are custom and unique. I source local and seasonal ingredients, including Illinois grown organic flour from Janie's Mill and Wisconsin butter from Farmhouse Kitchens. I grow my own organic edible flowers and herbs in the summer to use with my cakes, and I preserve flora to use as dried decor during the rest of the year. I work directly with local farmers and gardens to source the freshest seasonal fruit and flowers. I spend a lot of time in the summer months making fruit preserves and syrups to incorporate into my pastries and cakes.  Each cake is truly special!

6-inch single tier cake starts at $140 - 8-14 servings
8-inch single tier cake starts at $180 - 12-20 servings
6-inch bottom/4-inch top 2-tier cakes start at $280 - 20 servings
8-inch bottom/4-inch top 2-tier cakes start at $360 - 30 servings
8-inch bottom/6-inch top 2-tier cakes start at $480 - 40 servings

Fresh flowers will add an additional $20-$60 if off-season and need to outsource

Free delivery is available within Oak Park/River Forest/Forest Park. There will be a $25-$50+ delivery service fee added for delivery to locations in Chicago or the Suburbs (determined by distance and time). Delivery pricing is comparable to current ride share costs from my location to yours and back. Large wedding cake or event cake set up may include additional fees also.

While strict sanitation procedures are followed to prevent cross contamination, please note that wheat, dairy, and egg ingredients are processed in my kitchen.

PREPAYMENT/CANCELLATION POLICY: At least 2-weeks notice and Prepayment is required for all orders. Your order and date is not guaranteed until prepayment is received. I will email a quote and an invoice to you after I have all the details I need for your order. Payment is due within 24 hours of the invoice being sent to you. After 24 hours, orders from unpaid invoices will be cancelled. *
