High School Pathways Application
Rise Together Pathways program will be offered to a select number of high school seniors at NO COST to students. We are extremely proud to be able to offer you an opportunity to join one of our cohort!

The Rise Together Pathways program provides intensive group and individual college/financial aid/scholarship application support to a select number of  rising high school seniors. Each student will be assigned to a weekly meeting slot and will work under the guidance of a college mentor and the Rise Together Director. Additionally, guest speakers will share critical application guidance during optional bi-weekly events. Speakers include a college admissions counselor, college financial aid counselor, and other professionals that can answer student questions and share insight into the application process. Rise Together Pathways also includes social and emotional lessons that are designed to ensure every member of the first-generation student cohort is prepared to thrive during their senior year in high school as well as at the college level.

Rise Together Pathways students must be available to:
1. Participate in twelve one hour Zoom mentoring sessions. Programming will run from late June through mid September. Weekly mentoring session times slots are available on Sundays and weekday nights so the program works around school/family/work schedules. Students must provide 24 hours notice if they are unable to attend their scheduled mentoring session.
2. Share their transcript, essays, letters of recommendation (if available), and financial aid information (optional) so Rise Together can help work on college applications, federal financial aid scholarship applications, and other post secondary attainment applications like QuestBridge and Posse. All personal information and documents will be kept confidential and shared only with the mentor and Rise Together Director.
3. Join optional guest speaker meetings on college essay writing, the admissions processes, resume/ interview skill building, and financial literacy. These sessions are in addition to one hour mentoring sessions. They are strongly encouraged but optional.
4. Maintain confidentiality of all Rise Together curriculum and materials.

Commitment Statement: If accepted to the Rise Together Pathways program, I agree to participate for the full program. My total commitment would be approximately 15 hours for the 10-12 week summer program.
