Pouf Making Workshop
Join us on two Saturday mornings and learn how to make this beautiful Pouf for your tired feet! Once you’ve assembled your gorgeous Pouf, you can stuff it with fabric scraps from your sewing projects—keeping textiles out of the landfill is a good thing...

Date: Two Saturdays, January 18 & 25, 2020
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (two sessions, 3 hrs each)
Instructor: Denise Jones Chu, Hello Beautiful
Skills: Student will have some general sewing experience
Equipment/Supplies: Bring your own basic sewing kit (scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape, straight pins—we also have supplies in the workshop area)
Domestic sewing machines will be provided in the OSF Shop. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine to the class, if they prefer.
Cost: $110. Registration fee includes:
All pattern pieces and sewing instruction to make the bias tape, piping, assembling the pouf, inserting the zipper closure and creating the inner bag liner. Cording for piping around the top and bottom of the pouf. 22” Zipper for bottom closure
Fabric for inner bag liner and for the base of the Pouf and Drawstring and toggle stop for the inner bag liner
$5.00 in-store credit for each student which can be used to purchase fabric for the Pouf cover. OSF has lots of designer sample fabrics to choose from in coordinating colours and patterns. Students are also welcome to bring their own fabric from home, if desired.
(Please note that the $5 fabric credit is only valid for use during this class)
