Wikimania 2022 will be happening digitally from 11 - 14 August 2022. Although the international event will be held digitally many mini-Wikimanias will be held locally. These mini-events are open to anyone who is interested in joining Wikimania and participating in the positive friendly inclusive community building atmosphere of the event. In South Africa two mini-Wikimanias have been organised. One in Cape Town and another one in Johannesburg.

Participants at these events will be able to attend the digital based international Wikimania whilst at the mini-local Wikimania. Catering will be provided for attendees at both events.
