CoachCamp Program Overview:
CoachCamp professional learning sessions are immersive, three-hour workshops tailored to the needs of NYC PE Teachers and Coaches. Led by Exos and Wellness in the Schools Coaches, these sessions provide a focused platform to dive deep into specific teaching and coaching topics, share best practices, and collaborate with peers across NYCPS. From interactive discussions to hands-on activities, attendees gain practical insights and actionable strategies to enhance their coaching skills and elevate their impact in the classroom. Wellness in the Schools is a national nonprofit teaching children healthy habits to learn, live, and thrive. We partner with public schools, chefs, and coaches to expand access to nourishing food and active play.

Ryan's Bio:
Ryan Permaul - Exos Coach & Program Coordinator
Ryan is passionate about
changing lives through coaching, fostering community, and developing
exceptional people and teams. He started his career as a trainer and strength
and conditioning coach for youth athletes, general pop, and military personnel,
culminating in working with Division I athletes at his alma mater. Ryan took
his talents to the corporate sector, delivering fitness solutions to MetLife
and Google in NYC before accepting a role as Program Manager for the Barclays
Manhattan corporate site.
Kit's Bio:
Kit Greenberg - Senior
WITS Coach at Wellness in the Schools (WITS)
Kit Greenberg serves as the Senior WITS Coach at Wellness in the Schools (WITS), a nationwide nonprofit dedicated to promoting access to healthy food and physical activity in public schools. Kit's background includes competing as a D1 diver on the Women’s Swim and Dive team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her BA in Marketing from the Business School and holds a certification in Digital Media Studies. Later, Kit pursued her MS in Sports Leadership from the Department of Leadership and Policy Analysis while interning as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at UW. She is deeply committed to physical activity and mental health, advocating for the integration of holistic wellness practices. At WITS, her objective is to offer New York City communities the opportunity and joy to engage in 60 minutes of recommended daily physical activity.
