Vítej v průvodovém formuláři!
Letos do pražských ulic vyjdeme s cílem podpořit trans* osoby v České republice. Chceme dát hlasitě najevo, že nesouhlasíme s podmínku kastrace trans* osob při úřední změně pohlaví. Chceme, aby i trans* lidé v ČR měli právo na důstojný a spokojený život.
Zaznamej tady svou účast v pražském Pride průvodu spolu s organizací Amnesty International a Trans*parent.
KDY A KDE:
12.8. sraz mezi 11:00 a 12:00 (na meeting pointu jsme schopni počkat maximálně do 12:30!!) u altánu ve Františkánské zahradě na Praze 1 (přesná adresa zde: https://goo.gl/maps/DSZVmPocptzxKeyQA). Společně potom vyrazíme na Václavské náměstí, odkud ve 12:30 hodin startuje průvod.
DRESS CODE: Abychom podpořili viditelnost a sílu našeho sdělení, chceme mít jednotný dress code. Nalaď se proto do trans barev! Je to pastelová modrá, pastelová růžová a bílá (viz obrázek vlajky v úvodní fotce). Ideálně jednobarevné kusy oblečení v některé z trans barev.
JAKÁ JE SITUACE TRANS* LIDÍ V ČR: Aby si mohli trans* lidé změnit jméno a údaj v kolonce pohlaví v oficiálních dokumentech, musí projít složitým lékařským procesem. Jde o dlouhou a náročnou cestu, na jejímž konci si mohou změnit úřední pohlaví; pro mnoho trans* osob tato změna představuje jediný způsob, jak být sami*y sebou i v oficiálních situacích.
Pohovory, vyšetření a hormonální léčbu zakončuje chirurgický zákrok, během kterého jsou dle aktuálně platné legislativy trans* osoby povinně sterilizovány a stávají se tudíž neplodnými. Bez kastrace jim není úřední změna pohlaví umožněna. Pojďme společně vyslat signál, že praxe, která je v rozporu s mezinárodními lidskoprávními standardy, nemá ve společnosti místo.

Welcome to the Pride registration form!
This year we will take to the streets of Prague to support trans* people in the Czech Republic. We want to send a loud and clear message that we reject the compulsory castration of trans* people during their official gender reassignment. We want trans* people in the Czech Republic to have the right to live in dignity and happiness.
Let us know if you will join the Prague Pride parade with Amnesty International and Trans*parent here.
WHEN AND WHERE: Meeting point at 11am at the square pavilion in the Franciscan Garden (Františkánská zahrada) in Prague 1 on the 12th of August (exact address here: https://goo.gl/maps/DSZVmPocptzxKeyQA). Then we will walk together to Wenceslas Square, where the march starts at 12:30.
DRESS CODE. We want to make our message visible and strong, that is why we ask you to keep to a similar outfit style. Come and join us wearing the transgender pride flag colours! They are pastel blue, pastel pink and white (see the picture of the flag in the cover photo of this form).
SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT TRANS* PEOPLE LIVING IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC: Trans* people have to go through a very complicated medical process to change their names and their gender marker on official documents. This is a long and difficult journey, at the end of which they can change their official gender; for many trans* people, this change is the only way to be truly themselves in official situations.
All the interviews, examinations and hormone treatment culminate in a surgical procedure during which, according to current legislation, trans* people are compulsorily sterilised and thus become infertile. Without castration, they are not allowed an official gender change.
Let’s join together and call for ending a practice that is in violation of international human rights standards and has no place in today’s society.
