There are two Office Volunteer shifts per day. First shift begins at 11 a.m. when the MMC opens and ends at 3 p.m. The second shift runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., when the MMC closes. The duties of the first and second shifts are largely the same, though each shift may have specialized tasks based on volunteer skills and office needs.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Experience:-Friendly and patient personality with good customer service skills-Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire current and potential members-Knowledge of and ability to speak competently about Mazama activities, programs, and classes-Organized, professional, and detail-oriented-Intermediate experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook-Intermediate experience in the Google environment (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Gmail).-Strong data entry skills-Experienced internet user with ability to help others navigate our website-Knowledge of outdoor recreation areas in the Pacific Northwest
Bonus Skills, Knowledge and Experience:-Experience working in a non-profit office environment-Experience working with Salesforce or other cloud-based relational database platform
