Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is thrilled to announce the "Latino Poetry: Places We Call Home" event, a celebration of Hispanic voices, culture, life, and contributions. Thanks to a generous grant from Libraries of America, EICC is hosting a spoken word event that includes a writing and performance workshop leading up to the main event on October 23, 2024.

Join us in this enriching experience where you'll have the opportunity to develop your writing and performance skills, share your stories, and connect with the community. Whether you are an experienced poet or a newcomer to spoken word, we want to hear from you!
