Lesson Lab Proposals: 2018-19
Would you like to host a Lesson Lab at your school this year? Fill out the proposal form below. The Department of Arts Education staff will review your proposal and respond within a week of your submission.

All Lesson Labs will be held from 4:30pm-6pm at hosts' schools, unless otherwise discussed with the Department.

We will give priority to any Lesson Lab submission that meets one or more of the following criteria:

• DEMONSTRATES ARTS INTEGRATION: The content reflects arts integration across arts disciplines (music, theatre, visual arts, media arts, dance) and/or across other core subjects (STEM, social science and civic engagement, literacy).

• IS CULTURALLY RELEVANT: The content is meaningfully connected to the identities, backgrounds, and experiences of CPS students.

• MEANINGFULLY USES TECHNOLOGY: Technology is incorporated as a learning tool and/or as an art-making medium.

• ALIGNS TO BEST PRACTICES: The Lab content and instruction demonstrates best practices in standards-aligned arts education (see below).
