Creekside Arts sits on unceded Wiyot land.
Creekside Arts' self guided residencies offer a unique opportunity to reflect, create and explore in an inspiring setting among the Redwoods of Northern California.
Self guided residencies provide a private space for personal reflection and solo work. Private living quarters and a private studio space is provided.
Residents will be invited to make themselves at home on the Creekside Arts grounds, garden and greenhouse and to participate in weekly neighborhood gatherings.
We intend for self guided residencies to be mutually symbiotic for the artists and for the Creekside Arts Community. Residents will be asked to enhance our community with a showing of their work, Q&A or other offering.
We welcome artists from a broad range of creative disciplines. Writers, poets, actors, performers, dancers, photographers, sculpture artists, ceramicists, visual artists, and creatives of all types are encouraged to apply.
Preference will be given to applications that demonstrate a project focus on what is dear to our community: Land, place, community, nature, climate, education, and social and political consciousness.
In addition to Self Guided Residencies, Creekside Arts currently offers a 3-week Residency Program in the spring. Please inquire directly if you are interested in a residency opportunity with a more guided, interactive and collaborative focus.
Creekside Arts does not discriminate on the basis of gender, sex, sexual identity, sexual orientation, race, national origin, religion, or age. We consider ourselves a safe space for all.
