USCC Scholarship Application - COMPOST2026

The US Composting Council is excited provide this scholarship program to assist with attending COMPOST2026. The conference will take place in Sacramento, February 2-5, 2026. Scholarships of up to $1,500 will be awarded to assist with registration costs, travel and lodging.

You do not need to be a member of USCC to apply. Funds are limited and applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Selections will begin after September 30th and will continue until the application closes on November 15th, 2025. Applicants will be notified on a rolling basis, with the final awardees notified by December 5th.

This year, USCC is excited to be partnering with the Institute for Local Self Reliance to host their Cultivating Community Composting forum, February 2nd 2026. Those applying for scholarships to the CCC forum are welcome and encouraged to apply for financial assistance to attend COMPOST2026; please indicate your intention to apply to the CCC scholarship in the corresponding question below.

Note: These $1,500 Awards are intended to cover conference registration, travel, and lodging; food and beverage is not an included expense. Conference registration will be discounted at the point of registration; reimbursement for travel and lodging will be distributed within 30 business days after the conference.
