RebLaw 25 Session Proposal Form
Hey! Thanks for your interest in helping build this year's Rebellious Lawyering conference. We can't wait to hear about your ideas. Please be as thorough as possible, submit your idea by October 26th at 10PM, and reach out if you have any questions (reblaw@yale.edu). We're also happy to work with you to develop an amorphous idea into a session--just give us a heads up somewhere below.

Proposed Session Topic
Please discuss the main topics of your proposed session. Session topics can range in the breadth and relationship to the law depending on your vision for the session. While our overall theme this year focuses on grassroots organizing, electoral politics, and the law, we are open to a wide range of session topics and themes.
*
Session Purpose
Please discuss the purpose of the session as it relates to rebellious lawyering. What do you hope for session participants to gain from your proposed session? What questions does the session intend to answer?
*
Session Format
Please discuss the format of your proposed session. RebLaw traditionally hosts a mix of panels and unique, interactive sessions such as workshops, trainings, and social events. Formats from previous years have included panels, creative workshops, skills building sessions, and coffee chats!
*
Session Speakers/Facilitators
Please list the individuals or organizations that you would like to invite to lead your session. In parentheses next to any individuals that you name, please state your relationship to that individual / organization (e.g., former professor, supervisor, friend from law school, etc.). If you do not have a relationship with the individual or organization you are inviting, please specify how you plan on connecting with that individual / organization.
*
Feasibility
Please discuss, in your estimation, how feasible it will be to carry out your proposed session. Examples of things to flag include logistically difficult session formats (i.e. requiring RSVPs) and speakers who may be hard to book or fund travel for. RebLaw has a limited budget for panels (typically ~$400 / panel), so please note potential speakers who will be coming from significant distances.
*
Expedited Decision?
Please note if, for any reason, you require an expedited decision on whether or not your session proposal has been accepted, and why.
Questions, thoughts, feelings, etc.
