There are three areas of criteria being evaluated for the selection to the teams:
(1) performance at the tryout, (2) play during the spring season, and (3) availability for the tournaments.
Commitment:● Tournament ball is 5-6 days a week for 10U/12U and up to 4 days a week for 8U.
● Tournaments can start as early as Friday evening at 4pm and can end late on Sunday early evening.
● Players must be motivated and committed
● Playing time is earned and is not always guaranteed/equal
● Players have to want it, not just the parents
● The summer tournament schedule is currently planned for early June to early August. Additional tournaments may be added at the discretion of each team. Player availability is considered when forming the teams.
Age Eligibility:Per USA Softball rules, age eligibility requirements are strictly enforced during the tournament season.
● 12U players must be born no earlier than Sept 1, 2011
● 10U players must be born no earlier than Sept 1, 2013
● 8U players must be born no earlier than Sept 1, 2015
Team Fees:Fees for the 2025 Tournament Team season are estimated to be ranging from $600-$800 (not including travel & lodging if needed) depending on your division. Details will be communicated once tournament schedules are confirmed by coaches.

Please make every effort to attend your scheduled tryout and arrive at least 15 minutes early to check-in and warm up. Field locations will be communicated out to families closer to the tryout dates. Players interested in playing Summer Flash but can not make the scheduled tryout for their age group must notify the league in advance of tryouts if a makeup is needed.
Registration for 2025 Summer Flash Tryouts is mandatory and must be submitted by Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:59PM PST.
