The Dean’s Office, Access Barnard, and the Center for Engaged Pedagogy invite you to participate in two in-person events with Anthony Jack, assistant professor of Education at Harvard's Graduate School of Education and author of The Privileged Poor: How Elite Colleges are Failing Disadvantaged Students. An intimate conversation will take place from 11-12:30pm (Diana Event Oval), and a public lecture will take place from 1-2:30pm (Diana Event Oval and live streamed, Zoom link TBD).

For Barnard community members interested in attending the intimate conversation from 11-12:30pm, we ask that you read the introduction and one chapter of your choosing of Anthony Jack's book in advance of the session to lend your voice to the conversation. Physical copies of books are available for pickup beginning Friday, February 11 in Access Barnard (111 Milbank). A digital copy of the book can be found here: https://clio.columbia.edu/catalog/15731696?counter=1

You are welcome to join us for one or both events by RSVPing below. Learn more at our web page: https://cep.barnard.edu/access-not-inclusion-two-events-anthony-jack
