Confidentiality Section

Respecting the privacy of our clients, donors, members, volunteers and referral sources of STC  L.E.A.R.N. itself is a basic value of STC L.E.A.R.N.. Personal and financial information is  confidential and should not be disclosed or discussed with anyone without permission or  authorization from the chair.
Care shall also be taken to ensure that unauthorized individuals do not overhear any discussion  of confidential information and that documents containing confidential information are not left  in the open or inadvertently shared.
Volunteers of STC L.E.A.R.N. may be exposed to information which is  confidential and/or privileged and proprietary in nature. It is the policy of STC L.E.A.R.N. that  such information must be kept confidential both during and after employment or volunteer  service. Volunteers are expected to return materials containing  privileged or confidential information at the time of separation from employment or expiration of service.
Unauthorized disclosure of confidential or privileged information is a serious violation of this  policy and will subject the person(s) who made the unauthorized disclosure to appropriate  board resolution, including removal/dismissal.

Representation Section

As a volunteer of STC L.E.A.R.N., I understand that I am not to represent STC L.E.A.R.N. without specific permission from the STC L.E.A.R.N. Board of Directors.

This includes, but is not limited to, activities such as speaking as a STC L.E.A.R.N. representative to any organization, establishing a fundraising campaign, collecting data, and / or sending out social media information.

Certification  

I have read STC L.E.A.R.N.’s policy on confidentiality and representation presented above. I agree to abide by the  requirements of the policy and inform the chair immediately if I believe any violation  (unintentional or otherwise) of the policy has occurred. I understand that violation of this policy  may lead to board resolution, up to and including termination of my service with STC  L.E.A.R.N.


I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.  MY SIGNATURE BELOW INDICATES MY AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW THESE TERMS.
