The availability of hunter education classes changes weekly based on the availability of volunteer hunter education instructors and how many students sign up for courses. Typically most instructors plan 1-2 months in advance for a class.

SUBMITTING A REQUEST WILL NOT GUARANTEE A CLASS BECOMES IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE. Coordinating with volunteer instructors and venues takes time, so please be patient.

YOU WILL BE EMAILED WITH A NOTIFICATION WHEN A CLASS IN YOUR AREA BECOMES AVAILABLE

Most classes are usually offered in March and April, followed by August. THE SLOWEST CLASS AVAILABILITY IS OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER. Smaller communities across Wyoming may only have 1-2 classes offered in a year, so please plan accordingly.
